target has me targeted

Does anyone else find it disconcerting just how well Target seems to know you?  Seriously.  They know my favorite color, the kind of music I like, when I shop, when I need a coupon.  The way to package the coupon, that will most delight me into opening it.

This is the latest:

Know what hubby said when he handed me this?  Not, "just junk mail." (which is what most flyers and coupons get in our household as they are unceremoniously dumped into the trash can), but, "hey, looks like you got somethin' fun from Target."

And it was fun.

I loved opening the clear, krinkly paper and slipping the coupons out of the red cardstock camera sleeve.  I especially loved the silver target, postcard background and the clever way the lens of the camera mimicked the Target logo.  Of course the free $10.00 worth of photofinishing coupon was nothing to complain about either. :)

And will I use it?  Of course I will.  The Target .com window is open in another tab as I type.

Ahhh marketing.
