An Illustrated Faith Date Stamp Trick, Stitched Tags, and Vintage Quilt Pockets & Cards for your Traveler's Notebook!
This week I have another sneak peek at one of my secret projects, a fun date stamp trick and absolutely gorgeous Etsy find and some pretty vintage quilt pockets and tags for your Traveler's Notebooks and Bible Journaling!
Some links below are affiliate links, see my FAQ page for how and why I use them
I worked on some stitched tags this week using glittery chipboard letters and some gorgeous floral paper from the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams line (I just love her paper so much!) I just stitched them on my machine with variegated thread and a little tulle tucked underneath.
This week's Mini-Make Monday video features a fun date stamp trick and a mini bible journaling process video of a spread in my Traveler's Notebook Hymnal. The full process video will be available on my new YouTube channel coming soon! Click below to watch!
The Rest Card above was a gift from my friend Abby of Little Birdie Blessings. You can download it (and lots of other pretty free printables) here.
Here are the supplies I used in the video:
Printable Vintage Hymnal Traveler's Notebook
Vintage Polaroid Cards with Scripture
Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade
Fabric Washi from Lemony Stitch
Fine Point Sharpie Pen
Tiny Attacher by Tim Holz
Pretty Gold Dot Washi From Target
Beautiful Faith Wands
EDIT: It looks like Debra is having trouble with her shop - it's back, yay!
I ordered one of these absolutely, beautiful faith wands from my talented friend Debra (follow her on instagram for amazing bible journaling inspiration @sparkling_faith) as a birthday gift and I just fell in love with it! It was packaged so beautifully with sweet little extras and I really wanted to keep it for myself, ha!
Fortunately for me, Debra sent me my very own that I just opened today, and I'm so excited. The pictures don't really do them justice, they are so pretty with layers and layers of sparkly goodness. On one side is a faith word and on the other is a scripture relating to that word. They are so inspirational and just the perfect gift for a crafty friend. :) (Thank you Debra for mine, I love it so much!)
I'm thinking they would make perfect Word of the Year reminders too!
New Vintage Cards and Pockets
This week I have a set of journaling pockets and cards made from vintage quilts and vintage slide frames.
There are 6 slide frames with tabs and paraphrased scriptures that I typed by hand on my 1958 Royal Futura Typewriter. The set also includes 6 blank slide frames so you can add your own quote or sentiment.
I've also included printable graph paper and dotted paper that you can print on the back of the slide frames so that you can sketch or doodle on them.
(paperclips in the above photo are from Betsy Doodles and Faith Wands)
The pockets are super quick to put together and are the perfect size for the slide frames or journal cards! You can see a video of me putting them together here.
If you like my printables you might want to subscribe to the newsletter because I send out a coupon code every week (not to mention exclusive tips, links and even free bible journaling printables sometimes)!
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend friend and doing something creative!
Peace & Grace,
"But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." -2 Corinthians 12:9
