I return from my end of summer break, I have goodies to show you and a brand new collection that is part vintage and part modern and full of hope!

Well Hello Friend! I went on a little bit of unplanned hiatus this month, as we started our first year of homeschooling high school (what??) which coincided with a number of other big events and my 2 weeks off turned in to 4!
Every once in awhile I think that's a good thing though, don't you?
Just before my break I purchased this gorgeous vintage mini-hymnal from my friend Amy and I love it so much!
I had planned to journal in it, but she wrapped it so beautifully with the flowers and lace, I can't bring myself to do it!
If you get a chance you should pop over to her shop, because she has some absolutely adorable Fall paperclips in stock right now (I might have just bought some of those too ;)
In my last Mini Make Monday video before my little hiatus, I showed how to make the Key Tag Charms from my tutorial here.
Prisoner of Hope
I have a brand new collection to show you this week, and I'm pretty excited about it! It's called Prisoner of Hope, inspired by Zechariah 9:12, where the Lord tells the people to,
"Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you." -Zechariah 9:12 (NKJV)
If you're anything like me, these last few months have been pretty difficult. It seems every where we look there is more sadness, and pain and tragedy. But I believe that now more than ever it's important for God's people to stay hopeful,
full. of. hope. so that we can give hope to those around us.
And not hope like the world has...the "I hope this is gonna be over soon" or "I hope something good will happen."
No, we have the hope that doesn't disappoint! Bible hope!
"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit Who was given to us." -Romans 5:5 (NKJV)
The word "hope" there come from the Greek word elpis which means "a confident expectation of good".
So my heart is that you will use these cards and notebooks to document your hope. That you'll fill them with hopeful scriptures and hopeful memories and hopeful thoughts and that as you do,
"...the God of hope (will) fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." -Romans 15:13 (NIV)
And that overflowing hope will help you to "be ready to give an answer when someone asks you about your hope." -1 Peter 3:15 (CEV)
For this collection I've added a new size of Traveler's Notebook Inserts! It's the B6 size which is approximately 5x7.
I found a gorgeous Heidi Swapp planner that is sized B6 so I bought it and my hubby drilled out the rings (it was a ring binder) and then I converted it to a Traveler's Notebook (see below). I am in love with the B6 size! It feels so much roomier even though it's really only an inch wider.
I'll probably still use the standard size too, so from now on the shop will carry both sizes! (If there's another size you're looking for just let me know!)
(paperclips above are by my friends Debra at Faithwands (star), Lisa at Just Stitched (coffee), Betsy at Betsy Doodles (disco ball)
and Illustrated Faith (pom poms) and my polka dotted planner is from Heidi Swapp *swoon*)
I had a hard time stopping when I was making these journal cards so the set is larger than usual. There are so many wonderful bible verses about hope. The cards come in two sets with the scriptures and a blank version so you can add your own sentiment.
They also have two patterned papers (one is lines for writing on) that you can use to print on the backs so they're not blank if you're using them for tip-ins.
If you like my printables you might want to subscribe to the newsletter because I send out a coupon code every week (not to mention exclusive tips, links and even free bible journaling printables sometimes)!
Remember to meditate on hope this week and maybe turn off the news for a little while and just pray for the people? I know that always helps me.
Have a beautiful, blessed week full of hope friend!
Peace & Grace,
“Be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord." -Psalm 31:24
