Printable Bible Journaling Tips, Bible Journal Cards and a New Printable Pocket Folder for Your Standard-Sized Traveler's Notebook

This week I have tips on getting the most out of your bible journaling printables, a link to some gorgeous bible journaling cards and a new printable pocket folder that coordinates with my Traveler's Notebook Inserts!

Bible Journaling Printable Ideas

 

 

 

This week's Mini-Make Monday video was all about how to make your bible journaling printables do double-duty by using two printables to make one tiny accordion mini-album!  Click below to watch!

 

 

 

 

 

This is a super quick and easy project!  As you'll see in the video, just print the journal cards on one side of your paper and print one of the pages from either of my Traveler's Notebook Inserts on the other, cut two strips, attach and accordion fold! 

Here are the supplies I used and a few tips:

Supplies:

 Double-sided Adhesive  (in the video I used Elmer's brand (because it was the only one I could find, ha!), but my favorite is Mono Tombow)

Paper Trimmer (I'm using a much older version of this one, but I also like this one)

Tips:

 -The traveler's notebook page will be slightly cut off when you print out the cards, but that ok, because you'll be gluing those two pieces together so they won't show.

 

-You can make a longer book by printing your journal cards more than once and then printing different TN pages on the back!

 

-You could also just cut the Traveler's Notebook pages in strips with out the journal cards to make a mini accordion book.

 

-Once your book is folded you can add a ribbon or twine closure or simply tuck it in to a pocket in your TN.

 

-This would make a great place for more private journaling or a prayer list.

Watercolor Bible Journaling Cards

 

I ordered these absolutely gorgeous bible journal cards this week from my friend Nichole's shop Goosekeeper Designs.  They are just stunning and the extra goodies she includes in the package are so cute! 

They are approximately 4x6 with rounded corners and the cardstock they're printed on is so thick and shiny!  I'm really in love with them!

New Traveler's Notebook Pocket Folder

This week's new release is a fun one!  It's a Traveler's Notebook Pocket Folder designed to coordinate with my printable traveler's notebook inserts!  I created it using vintage ledger paper and graph paper that I hand-painted and dyed. 

 

The cover has 3 variations, one with a vintage label with scripture (as pictured above), one with a blank vintage label so you can add your own quote, title or bible verse, and one with a blank cover and no label.  I wanted you to have lots of flexibility in how you use it!

I've also included a graph paper pattern for you to print on the back of the cover so that it peeks over the top of the orange pocket (as seen above) It's showing up a little gray in the photo, but it's actually pinkish.

 

The back (orange) pockets are a little flatter so they will only hold a tag or slip of paper, but the front (pink) pockets can hold tags, stickers or other planner goodies.

 

The folder is easy to assemble, all you need is paper to print on (I love this double-sided matte photo paper), a paper trimmer, scissors and adhesive.  I used Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue, but any strong paper adhesive would work.
